In Khan Younis, at least five displaced Palestinians were killed when an airstrike hit a tent in the al-Mawasi area, according to Gaza’s Civil Defense. Since October 2023, Palestinian authorities say more than 70,000 people have been killed and over 170,000 injured in Gaza. Widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure has left civilians facing severe humanitarian conditions across the territory.
