In a message to his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of Turkey’s Republic Day on Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian extended his heartfelt congratulations to both the president and the people of Turkey. He highlighted the historical and cultural bonds shared by the two nations and emphasized that, in light of the current regional and global challenges, strengthening bilateral relations has become more essential than ever. Pezeshkian noted that close cooperation between Iran and Turkey is not only in the interest of the two countries but also plays a key role in fostering peace, stability, and development throughout the broader region.
