ALWAGHT- Reports shared by social media accounts affiliated with the Zionist regime claiming the assassination of IRGC Quds Force Commander Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani have been firmly denied.
Iran has strongly rejected recent social media rumors claiming the assassination of Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, commander of the IRGC Quds Force. These reports, allegedly from a Mossad-linked account called “Terror Alarm,” have been dismissed by Iranian authorities as baseless disinformation intended for psychological manipulation.
General Qaani addressed the rumors directly, explaining that such reports are meant to worry his associates and prompt them to reach out, inadvertently revealing his location to adversaries. This approach mirrors previous attempts by Israeli-linked sources to spread false information about his status.
Since succeeding General Qassem Soleimani in 2020, the Quds Force commander has largely kept a low public profile, though he occasionally appears in public to counter rumors and demonstrate his active role in regional affairs.
Iranian media outlets have repeatedly debunked these assassination claims, highlighting that they are part of a wider psychological operation rather than genuine news reporting.
