ALWAGHT- Iran’s IRGC commander declared that naval forces are on full alert and will deliver a decisive blow to any enemy provocation in the Persian Gulf or its islands.
Major General Mohammad Pakpour, commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces, reaffirmed the IRGC Navy’s full combat readiness during a visit to its operational units stationed on the Persian Gulf islands. He warned that any hostile move by enemy forces at sea or on the islands would be met with a firm and immediate response.
Pakpour praised the preparedness and morale of Iran’s forces, emphasizing that the IRGC Navy is capable of confronting any threat with strength and determination. He compared their current readiness to the 12-day conflict in which Iranian forces, according to him, forced both the United States and the Israeli regime to back down.
The IRGC commander said the enemy fears Iran’s moral power and bravery, highlighting that Tehran’s retaliatory strikes on Israeli military and intelligence targets followed a June 13 assault carried out with US approval. That attack sparked a 12-day war that claimed more than 1,000 Iranian lives before Iran’s counteroperations brought the conflict to a halt on June 24.
