President: Iran Steadfast on Muslim Unity, Rejects Division

ALWAGHT- President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran’s dedication to Islamic unity, cautioning that creating divisions among Muslim nations benefits only the Zionist regime and its Western supporters.

At the opening of the 39th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized divisions among Muslims while the Zionist regime oppresses Palestinians, cutting off food and water. He questioned why the Islamic community allows such injustices and stressed that unity is the strongest defense against external aggression.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran seeks no conflict with other Muslim nations and is committed to the unity of the Islamic Ummah. He argued that true strength comes from justice and fairness in governance, noting that nations guided by these principles cannot be dominated by external powers.

Addressing scholars and clerics, the president called on them to promote the Prophet Muhammad’s message of unity and justice. He urged that differences in opinion or preference should never undermine solidarity among Muslims, highlighting that all Muslims are brothers and must work together to protect their rights and communities.
