ALWAGHT- Iran’s top military commander stated the nation is fully prepared to respond to any new aggression from Israel or the United States.
In a phone call with Tajikistan’s defense minister, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, thanked Tajikistan for its support during a 12-day war launched by Israel and the US. He criticized both countries for violating international norms and claimed their aggression failed to achieve any strategic objectives, instead prompting them to seek a ceasefire after suffering significant losses.
General Mousavi emphasized Iran’s distrust of American and Israeli commitments, declaring that the Iranian military is fully prepared for any renewed aggression. He detailed the initial attacks by Israel on June 13 targeting military, nuclear, and residential sites, followed by US strikes on nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on June 22.
In response, Iran launched extensive retaliatory strikes. The IRGC Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of missile attacks on Israeli targets during Operation True Promise III, reportedly causing severe damage across the occupied territories. Iran also targeted the US-operated al-Udeid airbase in Qatar. Hostilities ended with a ceasefire on June 24.
