Iran’s Military and Scientific Development Set to Accelerate, Says Leader

ALWAGHT- Marking 40 days since the martyrdom of top Iranian military and scientific figures in a US-Israeli assault, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution affirmed that advancements in both fields will accelerate with stronger determination.

In a message to the nation, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on Iran, calling it an act of terrorism carried out by a “vile and spiteful enemy.” Ayatollah Khamenei mourned the loss of high-ranking commanders and prominent scientists but emphasized that the enemy failed in its aim to derail Iran’s progress. Instead, he asserted, the attacks would only accelerate the country's military and scientific development.

The message followed Israel’s June 13 strike on Iranian officials and scientists, which was soon followed by US airstrikes on civilian nuclear sites. In response, Iran launched coordinated retaliatory operations against Israeli military positions and the US base at al-Udeid in Qatar, ultimately forcing an end to the hostilities by June 24. Ayatollah Khamenei praised the resilience and unity of the Iranian people and institutions during the crisis, calling their response a sign of exceptional strength and national determination.

He concluded by outlining seven strategic responsibilities for Iranian society, including the promotion of unity, scientific advancement, national dignity, defense strength, effective governance, spiritual leadership, and revolutionary spirit — especially among the youth. Ayatollah Khamenei expressed confidence that, with God’s help, Iran would continue to grow stronger in the face of its enemies.
