ALWAGHT- A missile fired from Yemen triggered air raid sirens in Tel Aviv, al-Quds, and other areas of occupied Palestine on Sunday, leading to the shutdown of Ben Gurion Airport, according to the Israeli military.
The Israeli military reported intercepting a missile fired from Yemen toward its territory, though no evidence was provided. Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, al-Quds, and Netanya, with explosions heard in central occupied areas. As a result, all flights at Ben Gurion Airport were suspended.
Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has yet to officially confirm involvement, but a senior official praised the missile attack as a powerful response to Israel’s actions, stating it is a language Israel understands. Ansarullah has repeatedly threatened retaliation against Israeli operations in Palestine and Yemen since October 2023.
Despite Israel’s intensified airstrikes against Yemen, Ansarullah remains committed to its campaign, including blockades and strikes on Israeli targets, vowing to continue as long as the siege on Gaza persists.
