Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Baku earlier to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. During their discussions, the two leaders signed seven cooperation agreements, with Pezeshkian emphasizing that the visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations.
Pezeshkian expressed hope that these agreements would foster greater progress in improving ties between the two nations, helping to establish a stronger regional communication model. He highlighted the historical and cultural bonds shared by Iran and Azerbaijan as a foundation for enhanced regional cooperation.
Pezeshkian, who is in Baku at Aliyev's invitation, conveyed greetings from Iranian Leader Ayatollah Khamenei to his Azerbaijani counterpart.
