ALWAGHT- In renewed aggression, US fighter jets bomb Yemen’s Sanaa, Ma'rib, and Hodeidah, responding to Yemen’s solidarity with Gaza.
On Tuesday, US warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes across Yemen, targeting the capital, Sanaa, as well as Marib and Hodeidah governorates. Strikes hit areas including Barash near Jabal Nuqm, al-Mahjar in Sanaa, and several districts in Marib. Earlier, US forces conducted 25 airstrikes on Tuhayta district and additional strikes on Kamaran Island in Hodeidah. Yemen’s Health Ministry reported 12 killed and 30 wounded in attacks on a residential neighborhood and market in Sanaa’s Shu’ub district.
In retaliation, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) launched operations against Israeli and US military targets. Using drones and cruise missiles, they struck sites in Askalan and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) in occupied Palestine. Simultaneously, they attacked US warships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, targeting the Truman and Vinson aircraft carriers with multiple missiles and drones.
The US strikes mark a continued escalation against Yemen for its support of Gaza, while Yemeni forces remain defiant, vowing further attacks on Israeli and US targets. The conflict shows no signs of de-escalation as both sides intensify military operations, raising concerns over regional stability.
