Iran Unveils ‘Missile Megacity,’ Boasts of Stronger ‘Iron Fist’

ALWAGHT- Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Division has revealed a new “missile megacity,” one of its many such facilities.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Division unveiled a new "missile megacity" on Tuesday, with top military officials, including Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri and Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in attendance. Footage from Iranian media showed them touring the vast facility, which houses thousands of advanced ballistic missiles, such as Kheybar Shekan, Martyr Haj Qassem, Qadr-H, Sejjil, and Emad.

The Kheybar Shekan-1 missile is believed to be capable of bypassing the US THAAD missile defense system, while Kheybar Shekan-2 has been specifically designed to evade it. Other powerful missiles include the Qadr-H, with a range of 1,700 km, as well as the Emad and Sejjil, which strengthen Iran’s medium-range ballistic capabilities. The Martyr Haj Qassem missile is named after General Qassem Soleimani, who was assassinated by the US in 2020 for his role in fighting Takfiri terrorists.

During the visit, Bagheri declared that Iran's military strength was now "ten times stronger" than in previous operations, referring to the country's retaliatory strikes against Israel last year in True Promise I and II. He emphasized that Iran had only used a fraction of its firepower in those attacks and warned that the country's military development was outpacing its enemies' ability to recover. He concluded that Iran's growing defensive capabilities would continue to shift the balance of power in its favor.
