ALWAGHT- Norwegian fuel company Haltbakk Bunkers has reportedly declared a ban on fuel sales to all US forces following the public dispute between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.
Haltbakk Bunkers, a major Norwegian fuel company, announced on social media its decision to halt fuel sales to US forces, expressing support for Ukrainian President Zelensky. The company criticized the US leadership, calling the confrontation between President Trump and Zelensky the "greatest 'sh*t show'" ever broadcast live. They praised Zelensky for maintaining composure during the public dispute.
The company's CEO, Gunnar Gran, explained that Haltbakk Bunkers, which supplied 3 million liters of fuel to the US military in 2024, made the decision immediately after witnessing the clash. Gran emphasized that the company selects its customers and would no longer provide fuel to the US military, calling for other firms in Norway and Europe to follow suit in isolating the United States.
The dispute occurred when Zelensky visited the White House, intending to sign a mineral deal, but left without an agreement. Trump and Vice President JD Vance criticized Zelensky for what they perceived as a lack of gratitude for previous US support, with Trump warning Zelensky about the consequences of his actions.
