ALWAGHT- A senior leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has urged Saudi officials to learn from the US treatment of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, warning them against placing blind trust in Washington.
Mohammed Farah, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, issued a stern warning to Saudi leaders, urging them to reflect on recent events at the White House, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky faced humiliation.
In a post on the social media platform X, Farah directly addressed Saudi authorities, asking, "Did you see how the US treated its most loyal ally in Eastern Europe, a Jewish figure like Zelensky? How easily they abandoned him. What guarantee do you have that your wealth, stored in American banks, will remain safe?"
He further questioned what assurance Saudis have that the US would not turn its back on them and disavow their actions—just as it did with Ukraine.
Farah stressed that if Washington could treat its close allies with such disregard, its approach toward the Arab and Muslim world would likely be even more dismissive. His remarks come amid evolving diplomatic and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
