ALWAGHT- Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister states that Tehran and Yerevan are currently experiencing an unparalleled level of bilateral relations.
On Friday, Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted the exceptional state of relations between Tehran and Yerevan, stating that Armenia can reach an agreement with Iran on any matter.
Last week, Armenia and the United States signed a strategic partnership document, with then-US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announcing that a US team would visit Armenia to address border security issues.
When asked by journalists whether this development was related to Iran and whether it had been discussed with Iranian counterparts, the Deputy Foreign Minister clarified that Armenia discusses all matters with Iran but emphasized that the issue raised by the US Secretary of State solely pertains to enhancing Armenia's border control capabilities and is unrelated to Iran or any critical concerns.
"I believe the statement issued further demonstrates our close relations and special cooperation. I see no issue that we cannot agree upon with the Iranian side. Our relations are at an unprecedented level," the senior Armenian diplomat stated.
