ALWAGHT- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated that Iran neither has nor requires proxy forces, emphasizing that the resistance groups in Yemen, Lebanon, and Palestine are acting independently, driven by their faith.
On December 22, Ayatollah Khamenei met with a group of elegists and eulogists in Tehran, where he praised Lady Fatimah Zahra as a perfect role model for humanity, emphasizing her qualities of truth-seeking, perseverance, courage, and logical reasoning. He also addressed the issue of fear and division spread by the enemies, stressing that the remedy lies in the jihad of clarification, truth-telling, and presenting logical arguments.
The Leader discussed regional issues, noting the failure of the Zionist regime to achieve its goals of destroying resistance movements like Hamas and Hezbollah. He expressed confidence that the nations of the region, with divine grace, will eventually uproot the Zionist regime. He also criticized foreign interference in Syria, stating that the United States and its allies aimed to either install submissive regimes or foment unrest.
Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated his position that the Islamic Republic does not rely on proxy forces in the region. He highlighted the faith-driven resistance movements in Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria, stating that these groups fight independently, and the Islamic Republic will also act independently when necessary. He also noted how Hezbollah emerged stronger from the challenges of the 1980s and predicted that a similar force would emerge in Syria due to the dire conditions faced by its youth.
In his closing remarks, the Leader emphasized the role of elegists in combating the enemy's psychological warfare through the "jihad of clarification." He urged them to foster courage, awareness, and resistance in the face of the enemy's tactics of fear, discord, and despair, calling it a necessary response to counteract the distortions and falsehoods spread by the opposition.
