ALWAGHT- Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei stated that the Zionist regime is destined for eradication as long as the spirit of resistance endures.
On December 17, Ayatollah Khamenei met with thousands of Iranian women at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah in Tehran to commemorate the birth anniversary of Fatimah Zahra (PBUH). During the gathering, the Leader reflected on the exceptional spiritual and celestial qualities of the Prophet’s daughter, emphasizing her status as a remarkable phenomenon in the realm of creation.
Ayatollah Khamenei discussed women's roles from an Islamic perspective and criticized Western societies for exploiting women under the guise of freedom and independence. He condemned the capitalist agenda of using women for cheap labor while falsely promoting ideals of empowerment. Additionally, he reiterated Iran's commitment to honoring women as exemplified by Fatimah Zahra’s life and virtues, portraying her as an ideal role model for Muslim women.
Addressing regional matters, Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the resilience of resistance movements in Lebanon and Gaza, countering efforts by Israel and its allies to undermine them. He stated that despite external pressures and violence in Syria, the spirit of resistance, as embodied by figures like Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sinwar, continues unbroken. The Leader reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for Palestinian fighters and Hezbollah, expressing confidence in their eventual triumph over adversaries.
The Leader also elaborated on the unique qualities of Lady Fatimah, such as her unwavering support for the Prophet during hardships, her spiritual devotion, and her role as a mother to prominent Islamic figures like Imam Hassan, Imam Hussein, and Lady Zainab (PBUT). He praised her life stages as the epitome of a devout Muslim woman. Ayatollah Khamenei concluded by asserting that Western media and politicians often distort issues regarding women to pursue profit-driven motives under a pretense of humanitarian ideals.
