ALWAGHT- The Iraqi Islamic Resistance carried out a drone strike on a military site in southern Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories, the latest in a series of retaliatory actions.
The Iraqi Islamic Resistance, a coalition of anti-terror fighters, confirmed on Saturday that it had launched a successful drone attack on a military site in southern Israeli-occupied territories.
The group described the strike as part of its resistance against occupation, expressing solidarity with Palestinians and Lebanese civilians, particularly condemning Israeli attacks causing casualties among children, women, and the elderly.
Since October 2023, the coalition has carried out numerous strikes in response to intensified Israeli aggression toward Gaza and Lebanon. Recent figures indicate that Israeli operations have killed at least 43,391 Palestinians in Gaza and injured 102,347, while attacks in Lebanon have claimed over 3,136 lives.
The Iraqi resistance also took responsibility for a drone strike on a key installation in Haifa last Wednesday, followed by another strike on a strategic location in southern occupied territories. Additionally, the coalition has targeted US military bases in Iraq and Syria, condemning US support for Israel in the conflict.
