ALWAGHT- Al Mayadeen News Network has stated that Israeli media claims about Qatar expelling leaders of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas are false.
The Beirut-based Al Mayadeen television channel, citing anonymous sources, dismissed reports from Israeli media on November 8, claiming that Qatar had expelled Hamas leaders. According to these sources, the reports about Qatar’s stance on Hamas are false, viewing them as an attempt by Israel to pressure the group.
Similarly, Palestine's Shehab news agency quoted a Hamas source who refuted the "false" reports from Israeli and US media, stating that Qatar had not requested Hamas officials to leave the country.
Israeli public broadcaster KAN and CNN had both alleged that, under US pressure, Qatar notified Hamas leaders that their presence was no longer welcome.
