ALWAGHT- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that allegations of the country attempting to assassinate US officials are a fabrication by Zionist parties.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei condemned recent accusations that Iran planned to assassinate US officials, describing them as a “disgusting conspiracy” aimed at complicating Iran-US relations. He firmly dismissed the claims as entirely baseless.
Baghaei noted that similar allegations against Iran had previously been discredited and proven false. These repetitive accusations, he argued, lack any credible basis.
He emphasized that Iran would continue to use all lawful avenues to protect the rights of its citizens. Meanwhile, the Associated Press reported that the US Justice Department disclosed a supposed Iranian plot targeting Donald Trump, which Iranian officials argue is part of a broader Iranophobia campaign.
Iran has criticized US officials for persistently fabricating narratives about alleged Iranian assassination attempts on current and former US leaders, including Trump, as part of this broader agenda.
