At least 19 Israelis were injured in recent Hezbollah missile and drone attacks

ALWAGHT- At least 19 Israelis were injured in a missile attack by the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah on the central occupied territories, amid ongoing aggression by the regime in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli police reported that 19 individuals were injured in the town of Tira, located in the Sharon region, following a military announcement of "three projectiles launched from Lebanon" early Saturday morning. Israeli media quoted the occupation army as stating that approximately 15 rockets were fired from Lebanon, triggering sirens throughout northern Israel.

Reports indicated that five rockets aimed at the Upper Galilee were mostly intercepted, while around 10 rockets targeted the Haifa Bay area and Galilee. The military claimed that some of these rockets were intercepted, while others landed in open areas. Separately, two rockets fired from Lebanon toward the northern Golan Heights hit open spaces. Hezbollah also declared that it had launched rockets at an Israeli intelligence base near Tel Aviv in the early hours of the morning.

In a statement, Hezbollah announced that its fighters launched a barrage of rockets at the Glilot base of the 8200 military intelligence unit at 2:30 a.m. (0030 GMT). The group also reported deploying several drones from Lebanon towards northern Israel, triggering sirens in the Haifa area for about half an hour. The Israeli military confirmed that one drone was shot down, while another impacted a factory in an industrial zone near Nahariya, though details on damage and casualties were not provided.

Since early October last year, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have resulted in at least 2,865 deaths and over 13,000 injuries, according to the Lebanese health ministry. Hezbollah has intensified its retaliatory actions against Israel following the assassination of its leader, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, in late September, pledging to continue its fight in support of Gaza and Palestine.
