ALWAGHT- The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah announced that it launched salvos of Fadi-4 rockets at Israel's Glilot military base and the Mossad headquarters located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.
Israeli reports indicate that several settlers were injured in the rocket barrage launched from Lebanon towards Tel Aviv, describing it as "the largest" attack since the onset of the conflict.
Hezbollah stated earlier that it targeted Israeli troop gatherings in the northern occupied Palestinian territories through artillery and rocket strikes in retaliation for Israel's deadly attacks on Lebanon. In separate announcements on Tuesday, the resistance movement reported hitting enemy troop concentrations in the settlements of Shtula, Metulla, Avivim, and Rosh Pina.
Additionally, Hezbollah targeted the Doviv barracks with Falaq-2 rockets and launched a barrage at Israeli forces near Rosh Pina. The group emphasized that these operations were conducted to support the “steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip” and to defend Lebanon and its citizens.
These attacks occurred amidst a significant escalation of Israeli aggression in Lebanon, including the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike on southern Beirut. Since early October 2023, Israeli aerial assaults across Lebanon have resulted in 1,745 deaths and approximately 8,767 injuries, according to Lebanese government data. In retaliation, Hezbollah has fired barrages of rockets and drones at Israeli targets. This deadly exchange of fire was ignited by Israel's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of 41,615 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and left 96,359 others injured over the past year.
