Iran-China Relations Have Evolved into a Strategic Partnership: Pezeshkian

ALWAGHT- Emphasizing the "sustainable and strategic" ties between Tehran and Beijing, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian remarked that China's remarkable development has opened the door to a deeper friendship with the global community.

In a message to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Tuesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated him on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

President Pezeshkian highlighted the remarkable progress the Chinese nation has achieved in recent years under Xi Jinping's leadership, noting that this progress has laid the foundation for stronger global friendships and mutual prosperity.

He emphasized that Iran and China, drawing on their shared cultural values, mutual respect, equality, and altruism, have entered a new phase of “comprehensive strategic relations,” aimed at enhancing cooperation across all sectors.

“The traditional friendship between our two nations has withstood the test of time and has evolved into deep, sustainable, and strategic ties. I express my readiness to work closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen the all-encompassing relations between Iran and China,” Pezeshkian said in his message.
