ALWAGHT- Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib stated that the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran was carried out with the US's tacit approval of the Zionists.
In a message, Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib extended condolences over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau.
Khatib described the assassination of Haniyeh, executed by the "usurping Zionists" with US approval, as a further revelation of the Zionist regime's barbaric nature. He remarked that this tragic event signifies the regime's impending collapse.
According to an IRGC statement, Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were martyred when their residence in Tehran was attacked. The statement conveyed condolences to the Palestinian people, the Islamic world, the Resistance Front fighters, and the noble nation of Iran, confirming that Haniyeh and his bodyguard were killed in the attack on their Tehran residence early Wednesday morning.
