ALWAGHT- The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry vehemently condemned the Israeli regime's brutal attacks on Gaza's al-Mawasi humanitarian safe zone, which have resulted in the deaths of at least 90 Palestinians and injuries to 300 others.
On Saturday, Nasser Kanaani condemned the Israeli attacks on al-Mawasi in Gaza as a brutal act, highlighting the ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Zionists with the support of the United States and other so-called defenders of human rights.
Kanaani stated that the massacre in al-Mawasi, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of innocent Palestinians, including women and children, demonstrates the occupying Zionist regime's determined effort to continue committing genocide against the Palestinian people. This occurs amidst the international community's silence and aims to crush the spirit of heroic and honorable resistance against the apartheid regime's terrorist army.
He called on the international community, particularly Islamic countries and legal and human rights organizations, to take decisive and effective action to stop the Israeli regime's crimes against the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Kanaani stressed the need for these entities to fulfill their inherent legal and humanitarian duties.
Kanaani further added that the recent deliberate attacks by the Zionist regime on schools, hospitals, and refugee camps, intended for targeted killing and ethnic cleansing, underscore the regime's helplessness in the face of unparalleled Palestinian resistance. These actions highlight the critical tasks of the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to legally pursue the matter and bring the murderous Israeli racists to trial.
He urged all Muslim countries and nations concerned with moral values, humanity, and human dignity to bring the criminal leaders of the Zionist regime to justice through comprehensive sanctions and international judicial prosecution as soon as possible.
