Increased tension on the northern front coincides with the American official’s visit to Lebanon

ALWAGHT- The Hezbollah movement in Lebanon, asserting its commitment to continuing attacks on occupied Palestine until the Gaza war ends, has escalated its missile and drone operations in the region since last week. This escalation follows the martyrdom of one of its senior commanders during an airstrike by the Zionist regime.

Amid ongoing tensions and exchanges of fire along the borders of Lebanon and occupied Palestine for over 8 months, the occupying regime's army announced its endorsement of operational plans for an attack on Lebanon on Tuesday night.

In a statement, the occupying regime's military disclosed that "senior Israeli military officials have conducted joint assessments of the situation at Northern Command headquarters. Following this evaluation, approval has been granted to develop plans for an incursion into Lebanon."

The statement also noted that "decisions have been made to accelerate the readiness of forces in the field."

Meanwhile, the United States, asserting efforts to mitigate escalation in the region, dispatched President Biden's special envoy, Amos Hochstein, to Beirut. Hochstein remarked on Tuesday, "We have observed heightened tensions (between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon) in recent weeks. President Biden is determined to prevent further escalation and deter a broader conflict."

Hezbollah in Lebanon has stated it will continue its attacks on the positions of the occupying regime until a ceasefire is secured in Gaza. Since the beginning of the Zionist regime's destructive war on Gaza on October 7th, Hezbollah and the regime have engaged in almost daily exchanges of gunfire and bombardments.

At the same time, Hezbollah Lebanon reported targeting the "Balasan" industrial facility, which produces weapons for the Zionist regime, located in "Kibbutz Sasa," using precision missiles.

Additionally, on Tuesday, Hezbollah released a video featuring a reconnaissance drone from the Lebanese resistance flying over the port of Haifa in the northern occupied territories.

The drone successfully entered the airspace of northern occupied Palestine, captured footage without detection by the Zionist regime's army, and safely returned to Lebanese territory. Haifa is situated 27 kilometers from the Lebanese border.
