ALWAGHT- An IRGC high-ranking military official has revealed that just a small portion of Iran's military capabilities were deployed in the recent retaliatory airstrikes against Israel.
Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, revealed in a recent interview that during Iran's retaliatory strikes, known as Operation True Promise, the United States, Britain, and France provided assistance to Israel to fend off Iran's attacks. Despite this, he emphasized that Iran only utilized 20 percent of its prepared military capabilities against the Israeli regime, standing firm against both superpowers and their allies. While Israel mobilized all its military resources in response, Hajizadeh noted that the US deployed aircraft, cruisers, and aircraft carriers in support of Israel, contrary to previous claims of non-intervention.
The IRGC general highlighted that there are numerous undisclosed aspects regarding the operation, revealing only a fraction of Iran's military capabilities. He credited the operation's success to the steadfast determination of Iranian forces and the wise guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
On April 13, Iran executed a multifaceted assault, deploying hundreds of drones and missiles against occupied territories. This action was in retaliation to the regime's aggression towards Iranian diplomatic premises in Damascus on April 1. The Israeli airstrikes on Iran's embassy compound resulted in the deaths of two IRGC Quds Force generals, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi, along with five accompanying officers.
The international community widely condemned the Israeli regime's aggression on Iranian diplomatic facilities in Syria.
