American and British military forces launch new airstrikes targeting the capital Sana’a and various regions across Yemen

American and British military forces launch new airstrikes targeting the capital Sana’a and various regions across Yemen

The United States and Britain have initiated another series of airstrikes in the Yemeni capital Sana’a and additional regions within the country. Concurrently, Yemeni forces have launched retaliatory attacks in the Red Sea, expressing solidarity with Palestinians amidst the Zionist regimes offensive on Gaza.

According to Lebanon’s Al Mayadeen television news network, citing local sources who requested anonymity, US and British military aircraft carried out strikes on approximately 35 targets across Yemen late Saturday. The sources indicated that the joint strikes primarily focused on the Faj Attan, al-Nahdin, and al-Hafa neighborhoods in Sana’a, with witnesses reporting significant explosions in the city.

In Yemen's southwestern province of Ta'izz, more than 11 air raids targeted areas in the Maqbanah and Hayfan districts. However, there have been no immediate reports regarding casualties or the extent of damage caused.

US and British forces also conducted three strikes in the al-Lahiya and As-Salif districts in the strategically important western province of Hudaydah, though there are no immediate reports available regarding victims or damage.

Furthermore, seven raids were reported in the al-Jar area within the Abs district of the northwestern province of Hajjah.

Al Mayadeen TV further reported that US and British warplanes conducted multiple airstrikes targeting various locations in Yemen's western province of Dhamar, as well as the central province of al-Bayda.

Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's resistance against Israeli occupation since the regime initiated a destructive war on Gaza on October 7. This war ensued after Palestinian resistance movements in the territory executed a surprise retaliatory attack known as Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

The United States and the United Kingdom have initiated strikes against Yemen following the Biden administration and its allies' unequivocal support for the Zionist regime.

Yemeni Armed Forces have declared their intention to continue their attacks until the relentless Israeli ground and aerial assaults in Gaza cease.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement, has stated that confronting America directly is "a great honor and blessing."

These attacks have compelled some of the world's largest shipping and oil companies to halt transit through one of the globe's most crucial maritime trade routes. Instead, tankers are navigating thousands of additional miles by orbiting the continent of Africa rather than traversing the Suez Canal.
