Alwaght- Saudi regime warplanes on Wednesday destroyed a water producing facility in Yemen’s in Sada province.
A security source said to Yemen’s Saba news agency that the Saudi warplanes launched an attack against a water purification site in Al-Khafji area in Sahar district injuring several civilians and caused entire destruction to the crucial facility.
The source noted that the Saudi war planes also launched three air raids against Al Al-Saifi area in Sahar district and two other air raids against Al Al-Hamaqi valley in Baqum district.
On Tuesday also Saudi fighter jets destroyed a water purification site in Hamazat area in Sahar district in Sada province.
Yemenis have denounced continuation of the Saudi-led illegal aggression on their country including the recent attack on the water facility which is a lifeline for civilians in Sada, affirming that these criminal acts are considered war crimes.
Saudi Arabia began a deadly military aggression against Yemen – without a UN mandate – on March 26 to stop advances of the Ansarullah movement which is backed by the country’s army and Popular Committees. The Saudi regime intends to restore fugitive former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi to power .
Almost 7,500 people have been killed over an eight month period of the unabated Saudi aggression against the impoverished Arab state of Yemen.
The Saudi-led coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah movement fighters, but the coalition warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructure including schools, fresh water facilities, hospitals, mosques etc.
