Alwaght- ISIS terrorists have launched attacks on two police stations in Afghanistan Capital Kabul on Wednesday morning.
Officials said at least six were wounded, warning casualties were expected to rise, after suicide bombers and gunmen attacked PD13 Police Headquarters building in Dasht-e-Barchi district as well as PD10 Police Headquarters compound in Shahr-e-Naw area, in downtown Kabul.
Najib Danish, spokesman for the interior ministry, said police were battling an unknown number of gunmen in both police stations, Reuters said.
"A number of gunmen at both sites under attack are engaged with the security forces," Danish said.
"At both sites, the insurgents took positions in nearby buildings."
Twin suicide bombings claimed by ISIS last week killed at least 25 people, including 10 journalists who had rushed to the scene of the first attack. This was the deadliest assault on reporters US occupation of Afghanistan in 2001.
