Alwaght - More than 110 militants belonging to the ISIS terrorists group have been killed in Iraqi airstrikes over the last few days in several parts of the war-torn country.
According to a security source in Al Anbar province, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the Iraqi fighter jets “bombed 14 sites belonging to” the ISIS in the city of Fallujah, killing over 60 terrorists
The Arabic-language al-Forat news agency also cited Iraqi Interior Ministry as saying in a statement that at least 28 ISIS terrorists were killed when Iraqi aircraft carried out strikes against terrorist hideouts in the town of al-Qa’im, located nearly 400 kilometers northwest of the capital, Baghdad.
Elsewhere Iraqi jetfighters bombarded an ISIS hideout in the town of Tuz Khormato, situated 25 kilometers south of oil-rich city of Kirkuk, killing 25 terrorists.
Since June 2014, the ISIS Terrorist group has been committing heinous crimes against all ethnic and religious groups in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and Izadi Kurds.
Iraqi armed forces are engaged in a fierce battle aimed at ejecting ISIS terrorists out of the areas they occupy. The Iraqi army is backed by Backed by Kurdish forces and volunteer Shia and Sunni fighters in the decisive operations against ISIS terrorist group.
