Alwaght-Turkish authorities provide electricity to Syrian border city of Tel Abyad, north of Syria, that is controlled by ISIS terrorist group.
Turkish Today Zaman newspaper, in the latest series of revelations, cited the Turkish Birgün daily as reporting "The not-so-secret presence of ISIL militants (also known as ISIS) on the streets of Akçakale, in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa".
The Birgün daily report echoes many other reports published recently, including that of Cumhuriyet news paper, revealing the Turkish ruling government's covert aids for terrorists fighting in Syria to oust the county's government.
According to the Birgün report before the Syria crisis, Turkey was delivering electricity to Tel Abyad as part of a deal with the Syrian government and the delivery continued even after ISIS captured Tel Abyad, thanks to the alleged collusion between the Justice and Development Party government in Turkey and the terrorist group.
"While locals in Akçakale sometimes face several cuts during the day, Tel Abyad residents do not endure such problems as turkey continues to provide electricity to the Syrian town uninterruptedly. The power cuts disrupt irrigation in the rural areas of Akçakale, leading to troubles in the agricultural sector. Turks are paying the price of the electricity provided to ISIS," report reads
