Alwaght- A senior minister in the British government has been compelled to resign over here secret and unapproved meetings with Israeli regime officials including Premier Benjamin Netanyahu.
Theresa May has forced International Development Secretary Priti Patel to quit after she held a series of meetings with top Israeli politicians without telling the Prime Minister.
Patel was ordered back from an official trip to Kenya and summoned to Downing Street by Prime May after it was revealed that she help 12 separate meetings with senior Israeli politicians and organizations during a family holiday in August.
Ms Patel arrived at Number 10 for an hour-long face-to-face meeting with the Prime Minister just after 6pm on Wednesday, having been ordered back to the country from Africa.
Earlier in the week, it had appeared she might avoid being pushed out after disclosing details of the meetings and apologizing to Ms May. But it later emerged that she did not disclose all of the meetings that she had, angering Number 10.
Patel's resignation from the cabinet is the second in seven days, after Sir Michael Fallon quit Wednesday last week as defense secretary after becoming embroiled in a mounting Westminster sexual harassment scandal.
