Alwaght- A deal has been reached between Hezbollah and ISIS terrorist organization on the withdrawal of the remaining ISIS terrorists from Western Qalamoun.
According to the deal the Takfiri terrorists will move towards the eastern region of Syria, a military source announced on Sunday.
The pact was reached following the victories made by the Syrian armed forces in cooperation with the Lebanese national resistance Hezbollah in the Western Qalamoun area.
According to Al Manar TV, the Syrian authorities have approved the ceasefire agreement which is aimed at preserving the lives of the Syrian army soldiers and allies.
On August 19, Hezbollah and the Syrian army launched an operation to purge ISIS from Qalamoun, located about 330 kilometers (205 miles) north of the Syrian capital Damascus
Last July, units of Syrian Arab Army, in cooperation with the Lebanese resistance, started operations against ISIS gatherings in Western Qalamoun area, that have resulted in establishing full control over Juroud Flita and most of the main passages and axes and strategic heights and hills in the area after inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists.
Speaking last Thursday, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said ISIS Takfiri terrorists in Lebanon-Syria border outskirts are completely confused and besieged, adding that they prefer to leave the area if they obtain the approval of their central command.
He noted that, on the Lebanese side the main objective of the campaign are deploying the army on the border with Syria and securing it. He added that the other objective is to determine the fate of Lebanese soldiers taken into captivity by ISIS terrorists in 2014.
The Hezbollah leader pointed out that Syria aims at liberating the outskirts of western Qalamoun from ISIS terrorists and eliminating their role as a threat and a danger and therefore securing the Damascus-Homs road, especially since ISIS is facing defeat in Deir Ezzor
