Alwaght- Most Americans believe that President Donald Trump is not keeping his campaign promises, an opinion poll has revealed.
The poll conducted by Gallup shows that the image of Trump as someone who keeps his promises has faded in the first two months of his presidency, falling from 62% in February to 45%. Most Americans no longer see him as someone who "can bring about the changes this country needs" or as "honest and trustworthy."
Over the past two months, Trump's ratings have declined marginally on all six characteristics that Gallup measured in its April 5-9 poll. His approval ratings that stood at 42% in February have continued to move on a downward spiral to 40% in Gallup's Daily tracking poll during the April 5-9 poll.
This new near historic low approval ratings come as protests against Trump continue across the US. In the latest incident, at least 21 people were arrested as Trump supporters and opponents clashed Saturday at a park in Berkeley, California. Following the fresh spike in protests, Elizabeth Conway Counselor to Trump has urged leaders of the opposition Democratic Party to quell anti-Trump demonstrations.
As Trump’s popularity sinks lower, more protests are expected by opponents of his controversial internal and foreign policy decisions.
Meanwhile, protests against Trump have not just been limited to the US, and now they are not just limited to earth. The Autonomous Space Agency Network (NASA backwards), a few ago sent their protest against the US President into space.
Floating a weather balloon up to 90,000 feet, ASAN attached a huge printed tweet expressing dissatisfaction at Trump.
Trump has proven unpopular with many in his first 100 days of office, particularly for its apparent anti-science agenda.
