On
Saturday 11 April, an Egyptian court sentenced fourteen Muslim Brotherhood
members to death by hanging, and 36 members to life in prison.
Mohamed Badie, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood was sentenced on Saturday to death along with thirteen members of his group. According to the criminal Egyptian court's verdict, they faced the charges of participating in the mass protest in Cairo in August 2013 as well as publicizing false information to destabilize Egypt, as CNN reported.
This trend may lead to more death penalities which will take the lives of Egyptian civilians, if UN keep on closing eye on the anti-humanitarian veridcts.
