Alwaght- ISIS terrorists have broken into a prison in Iraq’s northern city of Kirkuk and freed many terrorist, Al Masdar News Reported.
Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) confirmed the news update saying at least 70 ISIS terrorist were killed in the clashes.
ISIS launched multiple attacks on Mosul’s second-largest city and killed at least 16 people, including 12 Iraqi administrators and engineers as well as four Iranian technicians, on the power plant in Dibis District of Kirkuk.
In response, PMF has announced that it will move even more units to assist the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to repel ISIS terrorists.
Kirkuk is about 175 kilometers (109 miles) southeast of Mosul.
Oil-rich Kirkuk has been attacked before by ISIS terrorists. The city's significance stems from the fact its oil reserves are almost as much as those in southern Iraq.
