Hamas: Future of talks depends on applying pressure to the Israeli regime

ALWAGHT- Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha stated that the continuation of negotiations and the implementation of agreements depend on exerting pressure on the Zionist regime.

The Israeli regime is using negotiations as a cover to continue its massacres in the Gaza Strip, Taha told the Arabi21 news website on Tuesday.

“Even if we agree to Netanyahu’s new conditions, he will impose additional ones,” the spokesman noted.

Taha added that Netanyahu is not genuinely interested in reaching any agreement due to his own political interests.

He mentioned that the Palestinian resistance movement has shown positive and flexible responses to various proposals aimed at ending the aggression, including the Egyptian-Qatari offer presented on May 6.

At that time, the movement immediately supported the proposal, but the occupying regime rejected it. Taha expressed hope that the latest proposal, which Hamas approved on July 2, would become the adopted framework to end the Zionist regime’s aggression on Gaza.
