ALWAGHT- The Army Air Force commander stated: We are ready to follow the commander-in-chief's orders to hit our targets, especially using the Sukhoi Su-24. I also want to caution Iran's adversaries from making a strategic misstep.
On Wednesday, Brigadier General Pilot Hamid Vahedi, speaking on the sidelines of the Army Day parade about the preparedness of the Air Force's Sukhoi Su-24 fighter jets, stated: "The Air Force, with the assistance of the Ministry of Defense and in coordination with the Army and the General Staff, is better prepared than ever."
He continued: "Our current state of readiness with respect to the Sukhoi Su-24 is higher than ever before, and our preparedness extends beyond just the Sukhoi Su-24. We are also fully equipped with other aircraft, and as the Army commander mentioned, any strategic mistake by the enemy will lead to irreversible damage."
When asked whether Sukhoi Su-24 squadrons would participate in engaging the enemy, the Army Air Force commander replied: "We are completely prepared across all flight operations, both air cover and bombers, and are ready to carry out the commander-in-chief's orders to strike our targets, particularly with the Sukhoi Su-24. I also warn Iran's enemies not to make a strategic error."
Brigadier General Vahedi added: "The IRGC's response was a slap and a punishment. I advise them not to do anything that would incite a major attack by the Iranian armed forces."
