ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi cautioned Washington and Tel Aviv against launching another attack on the Islamic Republic, arguing that their previous efforts to bring Iran to its knees had instead strengthened the country. He added that any fresh act of aggression would prompt a response from Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi warned the United States and Israel against renewed aggression, saying previous attempts to defeat Iran had only strengthened the country. In a post on X on Sunday, he challenged them to try again, cautioning that Tehran also had unfinished business.
Araghchi accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of pushing Washington toward another war to protect himself from domestic legal troubles and political pressure, regardless of the consequences for Israel and the United States. He has previously criticized Netanyahu for prioritizing his political survival over regional stability.
The foreign minister said previous US-Israeli military campaigns had failed to achieve their stated objectives, including weakening Iran’s defense capabilities or destabilizing the country. He stressed that Iran had responded with retaliatory operations against strategic targets and remained prepared to counter any further aggression, while maintaining that Tehran did not seek perpetual conflict.
