ALWAGHT- The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said US aggression endangers maritime security and blamed Washington and its allies for escalating regional instability.
Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, accused the United States of endangering the Strait of Hormuz, regional security and international trade through repeated interference. He said Iran would not tolerate any US involvement in administering the strait and warned that Iranian forces would respond firmly to any threat against commercial shipping and oil tankers.
Zolfaghari also warned regional governments that any cooperation or logistical support for US military operations would be viewed as an act of war against Iran. He said countries assisting Washington would share responsibility for any escalation and warned that a wider conflict could engulf the entire region.
Separately, the IRGC said it struck US military assets in Oman and Bahrain, including radar systems and installations at Bahrain's al-Juffair base, as part of a new phase of retaliatory operations. The IRGC also accused US forces of targeting civilian infrastructure in Mahshahr and warned that continued American military activity could affect shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and have broader consequences for global oil and gas markets.
