ALWAGHT- Major General Amir Hatami, commander of the Iranian Army, highlighted ongoing initiatives to boost Iran’s defense, saying the 12-day conflict with the Zionist regime provided key lessons about emerging threats.
During a meeting with Iranian lawmakers on Sunday, Major General Amir Hatami stated that the Army has worked tirelessly to develop and strengthen Iran’s defensive capabilities.
Highlighting Iran’s performance during the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime in June, he credited the country’s resilience to the prudent leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the sacrifices and dedication of the Armed Forces, and the unity, insight, and determination of the Iranian people, which ultimately forced the enemy to request a ceasefire.
Hatami stressed that Iran continues to build on these strengths to further enhance its defensive power and preparedness. He noted that the lessons learned from the conflict have equipped the country to face future challenges.
“Today, our people are more aware and discerning regarding the enemy’s intentions and can clearly recognize their malicious plans,” he added.
