ALWAGHT- Iran must strengthen its military readiness, a senior adviser said, noting that ongoing regional tensions could escalate suddenly.
Major General Seyyed Rahim Safavi, senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned that Iran is effectively in a state of war, with the situation capable of collapsing at any moment. He suggested that a new conflict may be imminent and emphasized that current conditions do not represent a ceasefire.
Safavi criticized Washington and Tel Aviv for believing that peace must be enforced through strength, stressing that Iran must attain a high level of power. He noted that the military is preparing for worst-case scenarios, maintaining readiness, and developing strategies to address any potential threat.
The general highlighted the need to enhance Iran’s capabilities across multiple fields, including offensive strategy, diplomacy, media, cyberspace, missiles, and drones. He concluded that the best approach to defense is offense and that anyone seeking peace must first be prepared for war.
