ALWAGHT- Iran’s Foreign Ministry denounced the Israeli regime’s actions in Gaza as genocidal war crimes and called for urgent international and regional efforts to halt the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Iran has voiced grave concern over the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, strongly condemning the Israeli regime’s ongoing atrocities, including the systematic killing of civilians and the blockade of essential supplies. The Foreign Ministry described the siege, bombardment of shelters, and attacks on aid points as deliberate acts of mass murder and violations of international law, highlighting the dire conditions where over 1,000 people have died in food lines and hundreds more from starvation.
Blaming the United States and its allies—particularly Germany—for enabling Israel’s actions through military, political, and economic support, Iran accused them of shielding the regime from accountability and facilitating a campaign of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement. The Foreign Ministry criticized the UN Security Council’s inaction, attributing it to US obstructionism that has normalized war crimes and emboldened Israeli aggression.
Iran called on international organizations, including the UN, ICRC, WHO, and UNICEF, as well as Islamic and regional states, to urgently intervene. It urged coordinated action through the OIC and UN to halt Israeli crimes, ensure humanitarian aid delivery, and prosecute those responsible. Reaffirming its support for Palestinian self-determination, Iran called for global solidarity to end what it described as a colonial genocide in Palestine.
