‘War crime’: Israeli Attack Damages Iran’s Foreign Ministry Building, Causing Numerous Injuries

ALWAGHT- Iran’s foreign ministry has vehemently denounced the Israeli military strike on one of its buildings in Tehran, which resulted in numerous injuries, including among ministry personnel.

Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned the Israeli attack on Iran’s foreign ministry building as a "deliberate and ruthless" war crime, resulting in injuries to several ministry staff. He described the assault as part of Israel’s ongoing systematic aggression against Iran, which has included the assassination of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians since Friday.

In retaliation, Iran launched Operation True Promise III, involving extensive missile and drone strikes by the IRGC targeting strategic sites across the occupied Palestinian territories, including Tel Aviv and Haifa. These precise attacks have hit critical infrastructure such as airbases, command centers, and industrial complexes, demonstrating Iran’s capability to penetrate Israeli air defenses effectively.

Iranian officials, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, accused the United States of supporting Israel’s military aggression, citing evidence of American involvement. Araghchi emphasized that Iran’s response is a legitimate act of self-defense under international law, asserting every nation’s right to protect itself against aggression.
