ALWAGHT- A high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) stated that the damage caused to the Israeli regime by Operation True Promise III “greatly surpasses” the regime’s initial expectations.
Operation True Promise III was launched about 20 hours after an initial attack by the Israeli regime, at a time when Israel had heightened its defenses and controlled neighboring airspace, anticipating Iran’s response, according to IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Yadollah Javani. Despite Israel’s belief that their strikes had crippled Iran’s military capabilities, Iran executed a powerful retaliatory operation.
Javani emphasized the use of a wide range of missiles and new drones, including the ‘Arash,’ marking an unprecedented precision strike on Israeli-occupied territories. This diversity and effectiveness of the attack shocked Israeli authorities and surpassed expectations even from the US administration.
While Iran publicly shares information about its casualties and damage, Israel has attempted to suppress details of the operation’s impact through military and intelligence channels, fearing the extent of destruction and losses. Nonetheless, the scale of the operation forced Israel to release limited reports to its own population.
