ALWAGHT- According to a senior Yemeni military official, Yemeni forces carried out a significant hypersonic missile strike on Tel Aviv early Sunday, targeting critical Israeli military sites in coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Yahya Saree announced a coordinated military operation against Israeli targets in central Tel Aviv, involving multiple "Palestine-2" hypersonic ballistic missiles launched over 24 hours. Saree emphasized the operation’s success in hitting sensitive military sites in the occupied Yafa region and highlighted Yemen’s solidarity with Iran, praising the Islamic Republic’s resistance against Israeli aggression. He reiterated Yemen’s commitment to supporting Gaza and called on Arab and Islamic nations to rise against Israeli actions.
This escalation coincided with Iran’s third phase of the "True Promise" operation, which involved missile and drone strikes targeting key locations across Israel, including areas around Ben Gurion Airport, Bat Yam, and Rehovot. The Iranian strikes caused massive explosions and extensive destruction, with confirmed casualties including at least nine killed and over 200 injured.
