ALWAGHT- According to Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, the confidential Israeli documents acquired relate to the occupying regime’s nuclear sites and will strengthen Iran’s offensive strength.
Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib revealed that secret documents obtained from Israel contain detailed information about the occupying regime’s nuclear facilities. He emphasized that these materials, along with other strategic records, will significantly enhance Iran’s offensive capabilities. The intelligence breach is described as one of the most significant blows to Israel’s security in recent years.
The operation to acquire the documents took place inside Israeli-controlled territory and involved transferring a vast amount of strategic, operational, and scientific information to Iran. Due to the volume and sensitivity of the materials, a news blackout was maintained to ensure their safe transport and thorough review. Khatib noted that analyzing the extensive collection of documents, images, and videos has been time-consuming, and while the methods of transmission remain confidential, Iran plans to publish the documents soon.
This disclosure follows the recent arrest of two individuals accused by Israeli authorities of spying for Iran. Israel, which began its nuclear program in the early 1950s with Western assistance, has long maintained a policy of ambiguity regarding its nuclear arsenal. Past exposure of its clandestine nuclear activities, notably by whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu in the 1980s, brought international attention to its program, but Israel’s nuclear capabilities remain a key strategic concern in the region.
