ALWAGHT- Retaliating against the Tel Aviv regime’s persistent genocidal assault on Palestinians in the blockaded Gaza Strip, the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted strategic locations in the Israeli-occupied territories with missile strikes.
Early Saturday, air raid sirens sounded across central areas of the occupied territories, triggering widespread panic among Israeli settlers who rushed to bomb shelters. Although no injuries or damage were reported, the alert followed Yemeni claims of launching a “hypersonic ballistic missile attack” near Ben Gurion Airport, which is located close to Tel Aviv.
The Yemeni military stated that their missile strikes were in response to Israel’s blockade and aggressive actions against Gaza and Beirut’s southern suburbs, emphasizing their ongoing support for Gaza until the siege ends. Israel’s military confirmed intercepting missiles fired from Yemen and reported that sirens were heard in multiple locations, including Jerusalem, the West Bank, and near Ben Gurion Airport.
Since the October 2023 escalation of the war on Gaza, Yemeni forces have conducted missile and drone attacks against Israeli targets and imposed a maritime blockade aimed at disrupting military supplies to Israel. The Yemeni Armed Forces have pledged to continue their operations in solidarity with Palestinians until Israeli ground and air offensives in Gaza cease. The conflict has so far claimed over 54,000 Palestinian lives, mostly women and children.
