ALWAGHT- The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has praised the country's defense and military strength, emphasizing that despite multiple retaliatory strikes and operations over the past year, Iran’s adversaries have yet to suffer “serious” blows.
Major General Hossein Salami addressed IRGC and Basij forces during the Payambar-e-A’azam 19 drills in Markazi Province, highlighting Iran’s growing military strength. He asserted that Iran’s real power has the potential to shake the world and warned its enemies of future blows, referencing Operation True Promise 1 and 2 against Israeli-occupied territories as mere warnings rather than full-scale retaliation.
Salami emphasized that despite decades of hostility, Iran has remained independent and resilient, adhering to principles of struggle, freedom, and sovereignty. He warned that those who fail to learn from Iran’s 46-year history of resistance would continue to face humiliation. He also criticized the United States and Israel for their failed attempts to politically isolate Iran and undermine its stability through psychological warfare.
He further pointed out that Washington and Tel Aviv had been unsuccessful in defeating Gaza’s resistance forces, despite their aggressive efforts. Iran, in turn, launched missile strikes on Israeli military and intelligence bases in July and October last year, retaliating against assassinations of key resistance leaders and reaffirming its support for Palestinians in Gaza.
