ALWAGHT- Hamas condemned the Zionist regime's decision to cancel the release of Palestinian prisoners under the seventh round of the prisoner exchange agreement, accusing it of attempting to evade its commitments through false claims.
Hamas political bureau member Izzat Al-Rishq strongly condemned the occupation regime’s decision to delay the release of Palestinian prisoners, stating that it reveals an ongoing attempt to evade commitments. He criticized the regime’s justification, calling its claim that the prisoner handover ceremony was "humiliating" false and baseless.
Al-Rishq asserted that the ceremony showed respect and dignity toward the prisoners, contrasting it with the real humiliation they face, including torture and beatings before their release. He pointed out that the prisoners were freed with their hands and eyes tied, and their families were threatened against celebrating their return.
He accused Netanyahu of deliberately attempting to cancel the agreement, violating its terms, and proving the occupation regime’s unreliability in fulfilling obligations. Al-Rishq urged mediators and the international community to intervene and pressure the Zionist regime to honor the agreement without further delay.
